Baker, Cora M.
Cora M. Baker, 96, of Ames, formerly of Marshalltown, Cedar Rapids and California, died Thursday, Nov. 10, 2011, at her home at Waterford Assisted Living in Ames, surrounded by those who loved her. Funeral services are planned for 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18, at Grandon Funeral Home in Ames. A gathering of friends and family visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday and one hour before the services.
Memorials may be sent to the Marshalltown Animal Rescue League in memory of the love Cora had for all God's creatures, especially the 4-legged ones.
