Baier, Robert Winn
Robert Winn Baier, 80, of Toledo, died Thursday, Sept. 9, 2010, at Carrington Place of Toledo under the care of Iowa River Hospice. Funeral services will be held on Monday, Sept. 13, at 10 a.m. at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama. Interment will be held at 4 p.m. Monday at Hebron Cemetery in rural Greenfield. Visitation will be Sunday from 3 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home, with family present from 5 to 7 p.m.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth Baier of Toledo; five children, Kathy Ritter of Marshalltown, Dave (Lori) Baier of Tama, Steve “Elmer” (Shawn) Baier of Tama, Linda (Jim) Beltz of Toledo and Deborah (Tom) Llewellyn of Tama; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother, Bill (Donna) Baier of Greenfield; one sister, Helen (the late Jack) Limbaugh of Algona; several nieces and nephews; and his Boston terrier, Max.
