Babak, Margaret 'Phyllis'
Margaret “Phyllis” Babak, 71, of Springville, died Saturday, April 16, 2011, at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids. Per Phyllis' wishes, there will be no service or visitation. Arrangements by Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Marion.
Survivors include four sisters, Pat (Bob) Crane of Springville, and Ilene, Irene and Judy.
Phyllis was born June 23, 1939, in rural Linn County, Iowa, the daughter of Wes and Hazel (McCann) Babak. She was an assembly worker at Collins Radio for over 30 years. Phyllis attended St. Isidore Catholic Church in Springville.
