Avery Marilyn Flick was born Sept. 23, 2013, at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids, the second daughter born to Heidi C. (Ward) and Justin M. Flick. Though her days were few with us, she enjoyed much, especially her big sister, Payton; Mickey Mouse; My Little Pony; and playing on her swingset. Avery always had a smile on her face and could light up a room.
Her family includes her parents, Heidi and Justin; sister, Payton; grandparents, Ben and Cindy Ward of North Liberty, Al and Julie Flick of Raymond and Lou and Michele Corkery of Cedar Falls; great-grandfather, Chris Leu of Independence; and great-grandmother, Elaine Flick of Waterloo; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends, young and old!
