Austin David Ohrt, 29, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away at his home on Jan. 21, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. A Celebration of Life will be held from
4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 26, at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 28, at Bethany Lutheran Church with the Pastor Mike Erickson officiating. The family asks that everyone coming to the services please wear a mask and follow social distancing protocols. A private family inurnment will be held at Garrison Cemetery.
Austin was born Aug. 28, 1992, in Philadelphia, Pa. He was the son of Joshua and Nicole (Struck) Ohrt. He enjoyed Harley Davidson motorcycle rides with his family. Austin was actively involved in activities at Metro Harley Davidson and the 620 Foundation. Austin was an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs, Green Bay Packekd volunteering through The Arc in Cedar Rapids.
Those left to cherish Austin's memory are his parents; his brother, Christian (Sydney Franklin) Ohrt of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; nephews, Storm and Oz Ohrt; his grandparents, Jessica Charlson and Steven Struck; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Austin was preceded in death by several grandparents and great-grandparents.
