Auld, Alexander 'Alex' S.

Alexander “Alex” S. Auld, 20, of Walker, Iowa, died Monday, March 4, 2013, at his home. Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 8, 2013, at Sacred Heart, Walker, conducted by Father Ardel Barta. Family will greet friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, March 7, 2013, at the Sacred Heart Parish Hall, where a vigil service will be held at 4 p.m. Burial: Sacred Heart Cemetery, Walker.

Survivors include his parents, Phillip Auld and Joann (Sherbon) Auld; siblings, PFC Danielle Auld (Marine Corps) and Jonathan Auld; paternal grandparents, Sam and Helene Auld; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Joe and Ruthmary Sherbon.

Alex was born on July 16, 1992, in Nashville, Tenn., son of Phillip Auld and Joann (Sherbon) Auld. He graduated from North-Linn High School in 2010 and then enlisted in the Marines. Alex was an avid reader, and loved gaming and being on the computer. He had many unusual pets including scorpions and lizards. Alex will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
