Audrey D. Wall, 77, of Delhi, was called by our Lord on Tuesday, April 1, 2014, at her home in Delhi, surrounded by her loving family. Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 5, at St. John's Catholic Church in Delhi. The Rev. Kathleen Moore will be officiating the service. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, April 4, at Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Manchester. Additional visitation will be one hour before the service at the church on Saturday. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Delhi.
Audrey was born July 4, 1936, in Ames, Iowa, the daughter of Maynard and Hazel (Durey) Schnittjer. On May 5, 1955, Audrey was united in marriage to George Wall at the Delhi United Methodist Church.
Audrey was a member of Delhi United Methodist Church and Hannah Circle. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, fishing for crappies, gardening and had a passion for flowers.
She was a caring, devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and above all, a loving spouse who was devoted to her family. Audrey always had a smile on her face and was positive in all areas of life.
Audrey is survived by her husband of 58 years, George of Delhi; children, Dennis (Sue) Wall, Steve (Jean) Wall, Connie (Henry) Bulanda, Pam (Doug) Feltes and Scott (Brenda) Wall; grandchildren, Tarra Jo (Andy) Powell, April Wall, Dennis (Hannah) Wall, Emily Wall, Matthew (Shana) Wall, Kimberly (Aaron) Saeugling, Stefanie (Benjamin) Gates, Bradly Bulanda, Laura Bulanda, Taylor Feltes, Allison Feltes, Jamie Feltes, Jacob Wall and Trey Wall; her loving companion, Peanut; seven great-grandchildren; siblings, John (Dorothy) Schnittjer and Sue (Jon) Volz; a sister-in-law, Judy Schnittjer; and many nieces and nephews.
Audrey was preceded in death by her parents, Maynard and Hazel Schnittjer; a brother, David Schnittjer; and a sister-in-law, Carlene Schnittjer.
