Audrey E. Rahn, 96, of Cedar Rapids, died peacefully at Northbrook Manor on Saturday, July 19, 2014. A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, Sept. 7, from noon to 3 p.m. Please join us and share your memories of Audrey at Zoo Hill Pavilion in Bever Park. Teahen Funeral Home is serving the family.
Audrey is survived by her nieces, nephews and several close friends, especially the Kerry Babes.
Audrey was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, U.V., Gene, Winifred, and infant twins, Harry and Harley; sister, Joan Hall; and all of her beloved pets.
Audrey was born Nov. 8, 1917, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Henry and Flossie Schnare Rahn. She proudly served in World War II as a WAC from 1943 to 1945.
Audrey was a constant supporter and life member of the Linn County Humane Society, American Legion Post 727, Iowans for Animals, PETA, Humane Society of the United States and Fund for Animals and Friends of America.
