Audrey E. Noring, 82, died Monday, June 30, 2014, at the Simpson Memorial Home in West Liberty. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 3, at the First Church United in West Liberty. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the First Church United, 1100 N. Calhoun St., West Liberty. Burial will be in the Pee Dee Cemetery, near Springdale.
Memorials may be made to Iowa City Hospice or Camp Wyoming.

Audrey was born June 4, 1932, near Springville, Iowa, the daughter of Herbert and Letty Sullivan Pollock. She was a graduate of Springville High School in 1950 and attended Iowa State Teachers College. On Sept. 22, 1951, she was united in marriage to Wayne Noring in Central City,
Iowa. Audrey farmed with her husband, Wayne, in
Cedar County for many years.
She was a member of the First Church United where she was a Sunday school teacher, Open Prairie Chapter of D.A.R. in Cedar County, Hartupe Social Club, Fortnightly and Ci-Mota. She was involved in 4H through her entire life and was a volunteer for the school reading program through R.S.V.P. She enjoyed gardening and as an avid reader.
Survivors include her husband, Wayne of West Liberty; three children, Dennis (Charlene) Noring of Jefferson City, Mo., Craig Noring and his special friend, Sue Henderson, and Lisa (Curt) Newcomb of West Liberty; six grandchildren, Christopher (Brook) Noring, Sean Newcomb, Benjamin (Sarah) Newcomb, Levi Noring, Zachary Newcomb and Danielle (Tyler) Madsen; four great-grandchildren, Nola, Audrey, Letty and Sawyer Noring; and two sisters, Virginia Tudeen of Bettendorf and Rebecca Fritz of Postville.
She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant sister, Nancy.
