Audrey Jean Hagerman,

Audrey was born July 3, 1930, the daughter of Arthur and Edith (Buelow) Wachal. She attended school in Coggon and graduated from Alburnett High School in 1948. While attending high school, she enjoyed being a cheerleader. She married Robert C. Hagerman on Sept. 2, 1951. They had three children.

After retirement she volunteered at the information desk at Mercy Medical Center. She also loved working for Per Mar for Iowa Hawkeye football and basketball games.
Audrey was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her family was very important to her. She enjoyed reading, musicals, Hallmark movies, game shows and her pets. An avid Hawkeye fan, she enjoyed watching them play football and basketball. When she could, she attended performances at Theatre Cedar Rapids and the Paramount. Audrey loved anything chocolate, it was her favorite treat. She also never met a dog or a cat she didn't like, and loved to take care of her cat, Kelly. She was a former member of Pleasant Hill Presbyterian Church and First Presbyterian Church in Cedar Rapids, where she taught Sunday school for many years. Later she joined Marion Christian Church.
Audrey leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her children, Colleen Dwars (Mick Green) of Marion and Brent Hagerman (Julie) of Cedar Rapids; grandchildren, Ryan Dwars (Brooke) of Tiffin, Jodi Heston (Steve) of Austin, Texas, Jenny (John) Washburn of Cedar Rapids, Jamie (Chad) Evans of Libertyville, Ill., and Paul (Tasha) Hagerman of Waterloo; stepgrandchild, Christi Stauber of Marion; great-grandchildren, Asher Dwars, Kate, Wyatt and Harper Heston, Haley, Johnny and Mya Washburn, Ella, Charlie and Ryder Evans and Jesse Hagerman; sister, Dottie (Ron) Romine; brother, Don (Lynne) Wachal; and her cat, Kelly.
