Audrey Ann (Heath) Taylor, 84, passed away peacefully on Monday, Nov. 13, 2023. Audrey was a mother and grandmother to anyone who needed one. She was a woman of strong faith and a loving servant to all. She loved everyone she knew and everyone who knew her, loved her. She made everyone's life better. She left us all with many cherished memories.
Audrey lived and worked in Lisbon, Tipton, and Cedar Rapids, Iowa for most of her life. Retired in 2001 from Linn County after working for the county for 36 years. In retirement she and her beloved husband Garry became snowbirds and split their time between Holiday Lake, Iowa and Vero Beach, Florida.
Preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband of 56 years, Garry Taylor. Sisters Bonnie Applegate, Sharon Irwin and brother Phillip Heath. She is survived by her daughter Doreatha Ann Taylor of Durham, N.C., two grandsons; Sebastian Howell (Sidney) of Graham N.C., Finn Howell of Boston MA, one great grandson Easton Howell of Graham N.C., her brother David Heath (Judy) of Vero Beach, Fla., sister Becky Wulfelkuhle (Dan) of Edgewood Iowa; many nieces, nephews, and friends from all over the country.
A joyful celebration of Audrey's life will be held 11am-2pm Monday, November 20, 2023 in Durham N.C.
