Ash, Mary Margaret (Teel)
Mary Margaret (Teel) Ash, 52, of Cedar Rapids, died Saturday, Oct. 5, 2013, at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids. A gathering of family and friends will be from 2 to 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 11, at Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her husband, Stanley Dowd of Cedar Rapids; siblings, Barbara (Glen) Carey of Menifee, Calif., George (Sandy) Teel, Dana (Penny) Teel, Karen (Bill) Wilburn and Althena Teel, all of Cedar Rapids; uncle, Bob (Jerry) Teel of Cedar Rapids; many nieces and nephews; and four stepchildren.
Mary was born April 7, 1961, in Charleston, W.V., the daughter of Ray and Dorothy (Lanham) Teel. She enjoyed talking on the CB radio and will be remembered as a very kindhearted person. Mary will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and former husband, Kenneth Ash.
