Arvis Joan Hahn, 85, of Marion, IA, died Tuesday, July 29, 2025, surrounded by her family.
Services will be Friday, August 15, at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories in Cedar Rapids, IA, beginning with a visitation at 3 pm and funeral at 5 pm. There will be a dinner reception immediately following at the Lutheran Church of the Resurrection in Marion, IA.
Burial will be private at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Arvis was born on April 21,1940, in Bricelyn, MN, the daughter of Alfred and Burnette (Jelle) Loge. She married Duane A. Hahn on June 25, 1960, in Albert Lea, MN.
She worked and retired from the Department of Transportation. She was active in her church, liked to volunteer her time, and was an avid golfer. But most of all, she loved being a mom and a grandma.
Survivors include her children: Jeffrey Hahn, Jayne Graybill (Barry), and Kimberly Long (Jeff Plecity), all of Marion. Her grandchildren: Zachary Graybill, Jacob Graybill (Diana), Lucas Long, Ryan Plecity, and Kyle Plecity. Her great-grandchildren: Chassity Puffer, Avalynn Boyce, Beau and Veda Graybill. Her siblings: Helen Zahller (Dave) and Jim Loge (Jane). Several cousins, nieces, nephews and in-laws.
She was preceded in death by her parents, twin sister (Avis Holmes), and her husband (Duane Hahn).
Arvis will be greatly missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
