Arlene A. Musel, 90, died Wednesday, July 22, 2015, at the Belle Plaine Nursing and Rehab Center following a sudden illness. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 25, at St. Michael's Catholic Church with Deacon Joe Dvorak presiding. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Chelsea. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Hrabak Funeral Home where there will be a rosary at 6:45 p.m.
She is survived by sons, Mike Musel of Urbandale, Doug (Rose) Musel of Vinton and David Musel (Mike Fortunato) of Washington, D.C.; daughters, Ann (Larry) Shilhanek of Strawberry Point, Carol (Rick) Petersen of Belle Plaine, Phylis (Dennis) Kurriger of Belle Plaine, Mary (Jeff) Hunzinger of Lee's Summit, Mo., and Jane (Charlie) Gustafson of Colorado Springs, Colo.; also by 16 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
