Arlene Dohlen, 80, of Marion, died Wednesday,
Jan. 9, 2019, at the Dennis & Donna Oldorf Hospice House. Celebration of Life services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, 2019, at Stone Bridge Church, where friends may visit with the family one hour before the service. Private family burial will take place at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre in Cedar Rapids is serving the family.
Arlene Joyce was born Oct. 13, 1938, in Rockford, Ill., the daughter of George and Charlotte Elaine Otis.
Arlene is survived by her three children, Brad (Debbie) Dohlen, John (Aminta) Dohlen and Susan (Mark) Houy; grandchildren, Andrew, Benjamin, Micah, Luke, Athena, Greg (Megan) Hintz and Zach and Caleb Houy; and great-grandchildren, William, Eloise and Juliet Hintz.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her loving husband, Norman E. Dohlen.
Memorials may be directed to the family in lieu of flowers.
