Arlene Ann Berry, 78, passed away on Nov. 17, 2022, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy. Private family inurnment and services will be held at a later date. Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre in Cedar Rapids is caring for Arlene and her arrangements.
Arlene was born Aug. 21, 1944, in Bonaparte, the daughter of Robert and Norma (Fritzsinger) Bell.
She is survived by her son, Victor (Kelly) Jacobs; her grandchildren, April (Brian) Tusing, Mason Jacobs, Nolan Jacobs and Megan (JA) Voshell; her great-granddaughters, Emma, Gracie, Hazel and Lydia; stepdaughters, DeAnn (Doug) Bishop, Dana (Bryan) Bucklin and Shelly (Mark) Carson; stepgrandchildren, Joseph (Cilia) Carson, Sarah (Bobby) Chubbic, Rachel (Matt) Onstat, Bailey (Garrett) Ashbacher, Kaitlin (Garrett) Hall, Nate Bishop and Levhi Bucklin; her sisters-in-law, Patty Bell and Virginia Bell, as well as her nieces and nephews.
Arlene was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Berry; her daughter, Julie Jacobs; and her brothers, Larry, Jerry and Gary Bell.
Arlene loved going to auctions and spending time with family. She could talk your ear off about "back in her day" and loved collecting anything chickens.
Memorials may be directed to Hospice of Mercy in her name.
