ARLEN CLAIR JOHNSON

Arlen Clair Johnson, 85, passed away Jan. 16, 2017, with his devoted wife, Rachel Mary, by his side. A private service was held Jan. 20 in Beaumont, Calif.
Survivors include his wife, Rachel Mary; six children; a sister, Donna; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Opal of Center Point; a brother, Rex; and a sister, Linda.
Arlen Clair Johnson was born and raised in Center Point, Iowa. He served in the Army during the Korean War. Rachel Mary and Arlen married in Dubuque on May 23, 1954. They moved the family to Arizona in the '70s, and in the '90s, they relocated to Southern California.
He was a devoted family man, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, and was loved so very much.
