Arafauntolis Maurice Royce, known as Justin by his family, 37, of Cedar Rapids, passed away suddenly Sunday, Sept. 12, 2021, at his home. Services: 1p.m. Saturday at Teahen Funeral Home by Deacon John Winkel. Burial: St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Justin is survived by his father, Darrel Keller of Cedar Rapids; sister, Patricia Keller-Petre of Las Vegas, Nev.; partner for life, Diana Strode of Cedar Rapids; special aunt, Barbara Maul of St. Peters, Mo.; nieces and nephews, John, Skylar, MacKenzee, Calee, Emily and Natalie; uncles, Eldon, Carrol, Johnny and Richard (Cindy); aunts, Nancy, Sylvia (Gary), Doris and Karen; best friend, Don Byerly; and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Justin was born Oct. 28, 1983, in Cedar Rapids to Darrel and Mary Bagan Keller. He graduated from Jefferson High School in 2001.
Justin had a big heart and always told people that he loved them. He was willing to help people whenever he was needed. Justin was an avid Iowa Hawkeye and Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan. He loved his cats, Pumpkin and Sweet Pea.
