Appleget, Clarys
Clarys Appleget, 103, formerly of Hedrick, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2011, at Keokuk County Health Care Center in Sigourney. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, March 18, at Fremont Funeral Chapel in Fremont, Iowa, with an Eastern Star service at 6:30 p.m. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Hedrick-Martinsburg United Methodist Church in Hedrick. Interment will follow at Pennington Cemetery near Sigourney.
Clarys is survived by two sons, John (Mary) Appleget of Williamsburg, Iowa and Jim Appleget of Mitchellville, Iowa; a daughter-in-law, Lois (Paul) Appleget of Waukee, Iowa; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; 17 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale, in 1981; a son, Paul Appleget; a granddaughter, Mary Charline Appleget; a daughter-in-law, Lois (Jim) Appleget; her parents; a sister, LaRue Jacobs; and two brothers, Jim and Richard Moore.
