Anton Benjamin Hanken and Brooks Ansel Hanken, infant sons of Garett and Jenny Hanken of Monticello, were stillborn Friday, Sept. 11, 2015, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
The boys are survived by their parents; maternal grandparents, David and Jane Jesenovec of Sand Springs; paternal grandparents, Jay Hanken and Cindy Hanken, both of Monticello; paternal great-grandmother, Nedra Hanken of Monticello; paternal stepgrandmother, Lois Sorensen; maternal aunts and uncles, Mike (Kay) Jesenovec of Sand Springs, Debra (Chris) Brokaw of Monticello, Sharon (Jeremy) Scherbring of Dyersville and Nancy (Dustin) Stumma of Monticello; paternal aunts and uncles, Gabriel Hanken of Monticello, Whitney Hanken of Cedar Rapids and Kaelor Hanken of Monticello; and 14 cousins.
They were preceded in death by maternal great-grandparents, Edmund and Magdalen Jesenovec and Gladys and Raymond Kirby; and paternal great-grandparents, Wesley Hanken and Robert and Rosa Rowen.
