Anthony John “Tony” Haugh, 45, of Marion, passed from this life into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, Dec. 3, 2023. A Memorial Service will be held to celebrate a very special life at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 9, 2023, at New Covenant Bible Church where a visitation will begin at 10 a.m. until service time. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. His brother, Pastor Jay Haugh will officiate.
Survivors include his parents, John and Rebecca (Becky Perri) Haugh of Marion, his brothers, Nate (Katy) Haugh of Pendleton, Ind., and Jay (Jen) Haugh of Marion, Iowa, his nieces and nephews, Isaac, Olivia, Caleb, Ben and Abi Haugh. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Grace Haugh, William and Patricia Perri, his uncle, Harry (Lon) Haugh and his aunt Nancy Perri.
Tony was born Aug. 22, 1978, in Lansing, Mich. Disabled from birth, Tony made up for his physical limitations with an abundance of love and personality. His infectious smile and laugh allowed him to make friends with anyone who got to know him. He attended a variety of special needs programs over the course of his life where he developed long term relationships with some of the most loving people in the world.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to one of the following organizations in Tony’s name. The ARC of East Central Iowa, Southwest Christian Care/Hope House in Union City, Ga. or Fayette Community Options in Fayetteville, Ga. (Attn: India).
