Annola "Bow" Keegan, 99, of Cedar Rapids, died Tuesday, March 24, 2015, at home surrounded by her family. Per Annola's wishes, cremation has taken place. Her family will greet friends from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Friday, March 27, at The Legacy Center at Murdoch-Linwood, Cedar Rapids. Burial will take place at a later date at Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Annola Bell Keegan was born Jan. 5, 1916, in Dyersville, Iowa, to her parents, Wayne and Lucille Kauffman. She married Clair Francis Keegan on Oct. 19, 1937; he later died Aug. 18, 1998. Annola was employed at Rockwell Collins for 20 years, retiring in 1980.
Annola is survived by her daughter, Jan Arnold; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two sisters; and one brother. Also surviving is a special friend, Lisa "Mary Poppins."
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clair; her son, Francis; her son-in-law, Ron Arnold; and six siblings.
Bow loved her daily beer at CJ's.
