Annette Marie Navratil of Cedar Rapids passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2022. She is now at peace after battling a long illness. A celebration of life will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 13, at North Point Bar and Grill, 621 Center Point Rd., NE, Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Annette was born Feb. 20, 1950, to Russel and Donna Omar. She had a long career at General Mills and had been enjoying retirement. During her employment at General Mills, she proudly volunteered for the Especially for you Race for many years. Annette also took pride in her cooking and catering for many events. Annette really enjoyed her marble collection and a good drink.
Annette is survived by her daughters, Becky Cress and Barb (Phil) Langrehr; grandchildren, Kelsey, Kameron, Payton and Kourtney (Richie); six great-grandchildren; a sister; two brothers; many aunts, uncles and cousins; and her life-long best friend, Linda Sue.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Russel and Donna Omar; sister, Anita Omar; and uncles and aunts, Ronnie (Marge) Miller, Adrien Zimmerman (Zim), Lanny Miller, Norman Miller and Nadine (Miller) Williams.
