Annette Marie Brower,
64, of Cedar Rapids, was sent home to be with her Heavenly Father on Monday, July 31, 2017.
Netti was born May 9, 1953, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Raymond and Wilma (Birdsall) Coates. She graduated from Jefferson High School in 1972. With unwavering faith, Netti spent her Sundays worshipping at her church, First Assembly of God in Cedar Rapids. She loved spending time with her family, and Netti also enjoyed coffee time with her friends.
Netti is survived by her daughters, Amy (Doug) Oliver of Mediapolis, Melissa (Nicholas) Simpson of Waverly and Megan (Adam) Henderson of Marion; grandchildren, Emily, Alaina, Braeden, Ava, Andrew and Cole; siblings, Richard Coates, Barbara Hurst and Belinda Muller; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Wilma.
Visitation: 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 5, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids. Funeral service: 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 5, at the funeral home. Burial: Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
