Anna May Slater, 83, died Saturday, Dec. 24, 2016, at the Good Neighbor Home in Manchester.
Services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 29, St. Mary's Catholic Church, Strawberry Point, with visitation from 9 a.m. until service time Thursday at the church. Burial: St. Albert's Cemetery, Lamont.
Survivors include her six children, Roberta Barrer of Bettendorf, Leo (Jen) Slater of Lamont, Harold Slater of Little Rock, Ark., Paul (Cathi) Slater of Cedar Rapids, John (Gina) Slater of Westlake, Ohio, and Msgt. Nick Slater of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; 17 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Grace Craig of Biloxi, Miss., and Viola Kofron of Janesville, Iowa; and a brother, Russell Steege of Montana.
