Anna Lorraine Novack, 15, born Oct. 16, 2001, in Seattle, Wash., passed away peacefully June 10, 2017, at the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital.
Anna is the beloved daughter of Mark and Susan Novack, residing in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Anna is survived by her parents; and three sisters: Elizabeth, 17; twin sister, Nicole, 15; and family sister, Claudia Orri, 15; along with an extended family in the Seattle area. All are Xavier High School students.
"Anna, your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure, you are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure."
A memorial Mass celebrating Anna's life for family, friends and students will be held at St. Pius X Catholic Church, located at 4949 Council St. NE, Cedar Rapids, at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 17, followed by a welcome gathering after Mass at the church hall. Anna will be laid to rest with services performed at St. Luke Parish in Shoreline, Wash., with her extended family and friends at a date yet to be determined.
