Anna Mae Nefzger, 13, of Manchester, died Friday, June 24, 2016, at Regional Medical Center in Manchester.
Anna Mae Nefzger was born July 5, 2002, the daughter of Danny J. and Karla K. (Kintzle) Nefzger, in Manchester. She was raised and educated in the Delhi area and was going to enter the eighth grade at Maquoketa Valley.
At Maquoketa Valley, Anna was a member of the volleyball, basketball and track teams, and was currently serving on the Junior High Student Council. Anna was also a member of St. John's Catholic Church in Delhi. Anna enjoyed spending time with her family and her friends, especially her Uncle Mark and Ella, and all her friends from school. Anna liked spending time on the river, fishing and being on the farm.
Anna is survived by her parents, Danny and Karla Nefzger of Manchester; brother, Curtis Nefzger of Manchester; sister, Kari Nefzger of Manchester; maternal grandparents, Tom (Verna) Kintzle of Greeley; paternal grandparents, James (Lillian) Nefzger of Delhi; and aunts, uncles and many cousins.

Mass of Christian Burial: 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 29, at St. John's Catholic Church in Delhi with the Rev. John Kremer officiating. Visitation: 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the church. Friends may also call one hour before Mass Wednesday. Interment: St. John's Catholic Cemetery, Delhi.
