Ann C. Goodhall, 77, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Thursday, Jan. 23, 2014, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City. Per Ann's wishes her body has been cremated. A celebration of life service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, at Lovely Lane United Methodist Church in Cedar Rapids, with pastors Paul and Gayle Wilcox officiating. The family will greet friends one hour before the service Saturday at the church.
Ann is survived by her children, Gary (Janet) Goodhall of Clive, Karon (Rory) Niebuhr of Hiawatha and Brian (Clarice) Goodhall of Marengo; grandchildren, Tim
(Amanda) and Nick (Danielle) Goodhall,
Andrea and Alex Niebuhr; three great-grandchildren and one due in February; and two sisters, Carol Currans of Cedar Rapids and Joni Wendt of Salem, Ore.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Goodhall; parents, Henry and Margaret Webster; and four brothers, Edward, William, Theodore and Jerre Webster.
Ann was born June 2, 1936, in Winneshiek County, Iowa, the daughter of Henry and Margaret
(Perry) Webster. She married Charles Goodhall in 1956 in Waverly, Iowa. Ann graduated from Roosevelt High School in Cedar Rapids and worked for the Cedar Rapids School District for many years in the accounting department.
She was a member of Lovely Lane United Methodist Church in Cedar Rapids. She enjoyed her beloved cat, Callie; crocheting, reading, bowling and her garden, where she was a master of the tomato plant.
Ann was a fighter; she was a two-time cancer survivor and will always be an inspiration to her family and friends.
