Angeline (Angie) Kay Snyder Bell, 77, of Cedar Rapids, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, April 15, 2018, surrounded by her family. Services: 1:30 p.m. Saturday, May 19, at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church by Pastor Randy Kasch and Pastor Trish Decker. Burial: St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family after 12:30 p.m. Saturday,
May 19, at the church.
Angie is survived by two daughters, Marija-Lisa (Eric) Musselman of Cedar Rapids and Manette Anderson of Cedar Falls; four grandchildren, Ryan Musselman of Richmond, Va., Aliya and Erin Musselman, both of Cedar Rapids, and Tyler Anderson of Britt; two brothers, Bill (Benadene) Snyder of Fargo, N.D., and Dave (Carrie) Snyder of Fort Lupton, Colo.; a sister, Edie Snyder of Coon Rapids, Minn.; and her stepmother, Bernadine Snyder of Sanborn.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, and three grandchildren, Tanner, Morgan and Macy Anderson.
Angie was born June 16, 1940, in Sanborn, the daughter of Donald and Phyllis Hahn Snyder. She graduated from Sanborn High School in 1958, and the University of Northern Iowa with a bachelor of arts in elementary education and a master of arts in school administration. She married William Bell on April 13, 1963. They divorced in 1975. She married Wayne Gordon on May 26, 1996. They divorced in 2006.
Angie was a teacher for the Cedar Falls School District and Bad Kissingen American Elementary School in Germany. She continued her work in education as the principal at Springville Elementary and Spirit Lake Elementary schools. After her retirement in June 1999, she worked at PSI, Bath and Body Works and Meadowridge Golf Course.
Angie enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, playing golf, playing bridge, reading, knitting and photography.
