ANGELA MAE SVOBODA
Cedar Rapids
Angela Mae Svoboda, was born in Central City, Iowa, the daughter of Ann Svoboda and Frank Svoboda.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Philomena Sterns, Mildred Speers and Ann Svoboda.
She graduated from
Central City High School and received BSC degree from University of Iowa and Master's degree from the University of Michigan. She was proud of her Czech heritage and a member of the Czech Heritage Foundation. She taught business education at Washington High School in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, for 35 years. Angela was also a member of All Saints Catholic Church in Cedar Rapids.
Survived by niece, Cheryl Olson; great-nephews, Brett Blofield and Sean Tritle; and great-niece, Laura Martin.
Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home is in charge of the service. Burial will take place at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
