Angela Fowler, 53, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2023, at Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids. Visitation: 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 21, 2023, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids. Funeral Service: 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 22, 2023, at the funeral home.
Angela was born Dec. 7, 1970, in Iowa City, Iowa, the daughter of Ricky and Patricia (Phillips) Sheriff. She graduated from Kennedy High School and Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids. On June 12, 2004, she was united in marriage to Jeff Fowler in Cedar Rapids. Angela worked for Transamerica and was a nurse for approximately 20 years at area nursing homes. She loved animals (especially cows), motorcycle rides, holidays, and the Dallas Cowboys. Most of all she loved the time she spent with her family.
Survivors include her husband, Jeff Fowler; children, Nicholas (Chelsey) Young, Amanda (Nate) Hunnicutt, Brittany Bornstein, and Hailey Bornstein; grandchildren, Alayna, Ryat, Rax, and Scarlett; parents Ricky Sheriff and Patty Magoon; sister, Tonia Krousie; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
Angela was preceded in death by her grandparents, stepfathers, and father-in-law.
