Andy Boffeli, 50, died Tuesday, July 4, 2017, at Genesis East Medical Center, Davenport, following a sudden illness.
Private family services will be held on Monday, July 10, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Father Paul Baldwin will officiate at the services. Goettsch Funeral Home, Monticello, is caring for the family.

Surviving are seven siblings, Francis Boffeli of Coggon, Tony Boffeli, Cheryl (Mike) Hogan and Shawn Boffeli, all of Monticello, Roger (Jodi) Boffeli of Runnells, Kevin Boffeli of Iowa City and Dawn (David) Wachsteter of Kennesaw, Ga.; 10 nieces and nephews; and four great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother, Keith.
Andy Boffelli was born Feb. 26, 1967, in Monticello, Iowa, the son of Eugene and Maxine Lynch Boffeli. Andy graduated from Monticello Community Schools, Class of 1987. Andy resided in various group homes until he went to the REM Group Home in Davenport in 2011. He was employed at Goodwill Industries in Davenport and had worked at Advancement Services in Monticello.
