Andrew Glenn Brummel passed away on Monday, Feb. 28, 2022, at the Highland Ridge Care Center in Williamsburg, at the age of 83 years.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn of Williamsburg, Iowa; sons, Gregg (Sara) of Altoona, Iowa, Ron (Rhonda) of Albemarle, N.C., and Patrick (Gina) of Williamsburg, Iowa; daughter, Shelby (David) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; eight grandchildren; and
three great-grandchildren.
Andy was preceded in death by his parents and granddaughter, Susan.
A Celebration of Life memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, April 23, at the First Presbyterian Church, Williamsburg. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until service time at the church.
Andy's body was donated to the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine, fulfilling a lifelong passion for education. In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to plant a tree in Andy's memory, or donations can be made to the Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation (infh.org).
