Andre Dewayne Osborne, 58, of Marion, Iowa, died Saturday, Dec. 18, 2021, at UnityPoint-St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Visitation: 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 8, 2022, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, with a funeral service to follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial: Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Andre was born May 1, 1963, in Memphis, Tenn., the son of James and Josephine (Gill) Osborne. Andre was united in marriage to Venus Horton on July 22, 2003, in Marion, Iowa. He was a people person who worked at Mount Mercy College in the maintenance department and as a driver for Enterprise Rental Car.
Survivors include his wife, Venus Osborne of Marion; children, Betty Jean Osborne (Keith Bradley Sr.), Andrea Osborne, Deandre Lynch, Angelica (Alex) Lynch, all of Tennessee, and Heavenly (Joseph) Martin and Harmone (Christopher Sr.) Williams of Marion; grandchildren, Kevna, Keana, Kemeria and Keith Jr., Bradley, Aden, Adrien and Avery Bell, Allen Dewayne, Nehemiah Uwadiae, and Jaxson, Jeremiah and Josiah Martin, Victoria Morrow, and Hadessah, Alena and Christopher Jr. Williams; goddaughter, Irish Buford and her children, Rickie, Ciara and Kaytlin Buford; and siblings, Tony Gill, Sherriea (Wayland) Harvey, Danny Osborne and Dedrick (Syonora) Osborne, all of Tennessee.
Andre was preceded in death by his father, James Franklin Osborne; infant granddaughter, Genesis Martin; and siblings, Larriel (Brenda) Gill and Beverly Osborne.
