Anderson, Merlin L. 'Mert'
Merlin L. “Mert” Anderson, 82, of Elkader, died Tuesday, May 24, 2011, at Central Community Hospital in Elkader. Memorial services: 11 a.m. Saturday, May 28, at Peace United Church of Christ in Elkader. Inurnment will follow at East Side Cemetery, Elkader. Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Leonard Funeral Home in Elkader and one hour before service time at the church on Saturday.
Survivors include his family, Micheal Lee (Donna) Anderson of Elkader, Gregory Alan (Dawn) Anderson of Elkader and Daniel Joe (Kathy) of Pine Island, Minn.
Leonard Funeral Home in Elkader is in charge of arrangements.
