Anderson, Mary Lou
Mary Lou Anderson went to be with her soul mate on Aug. 18, 2012. Services: 10 a.m. Thursday at The First Church of the Open Bible. Arrangements by Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.
Survivors include her children, John Bean Sr., Jamie Gatewood and Christina Horn, all of Cedar Rapids; brother, Clifford Williams of Cedar Rapids; sister, Marguerite Hennessey of Jacksonville, Ill.; grandchildren, Geneva Miller, Matthew Bean, William Bean, Savoy Snead, Dylan Mcelevey, John Bean Jr., Zach Oman and Desiree Oman; many nieces and nephews; friend, Tanya, three dogs; one cat; two birds; and two guinea pigs.
She was preceded in death by her husband; Clyde; daughter, Tina Bean; son, Michael Lee Bean; brother, Amos Williams; and sister, Gladys Grapes.
Mary Lou owned her M L Cleaning business many years in Phoenix, Ariz., with her husband, Clyde. She worked as a maid at Coopers Mill and other various hotels. Mary Lou also was a home health caregiver.
Memorials may be directed to the family in memory of Mary Lou Anderson.
