Anderson, Glenn W.
Glenn W. Anderson, 93, died Friday, Aug. 20, 2010, at Virginia Gay Hospital in Vinton following a brief illness. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 23, at the Vinton Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Ron Sumption officiating. Visitation will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Van Steenhuyse-Russell Funeral Home in Vinton and from 9:30 a.m. until service time at the church on Monday. Interment and committal services will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Vinton, with Pastor Jim Blair officiating.
Glenn is survived by one son, John (Barbara) Anderson of Vinton; one daughter, Janet (Richard) Williams of Vinton; five grandchildren, Matthew (Rachel) Anderson, Melanie (Ryan) Davis, Maria (Tracy) Davis and Paul (Stephonie) Williams, all of Vinton, and Jim (Anna) Williams of Clarion; 13 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Howard (Evelyn) Anderson of Columbia, Tenn., Warren (Pat) Anderson of Grinnell and Jim (Barb) Anderson of Vinton; and one sister, Lucille White of Hills.
