Amy E. Driver, 35, of Oxford Junction, passed away Saturday, July 25, 2015. Her funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 1, at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Oxford Junction. A visitation will be held from 3:30 to 8 p.m. Friday at Lahey Funeral Home in Oxford Junction. Her final resting place will be at Massillion Cemetery.
Amy Elizabeth Driver was born on Feb. 5, 1980, in Iowa City, to Anthony and Thyrza (Crofton) Driver. She graduated from Midland High School in 1999 and attended Scott Community College. She had worked at a medical lab in the Quad Cities before becoming a stay at home mom.
She was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Oxford Junction. She enjoyed the outdoors whether it be sitting by the river, going camping or hanging out at Uncle Joe's Farm. She had a bubbly personality, always was happy and would do whatever she could to help others. Amy loved spending time with her family and friends and took the most pride and enjoyment in being a mom.
Those left to honor Amy's memory are her parents; two children, Emery John and Scott Joseph Wood, all of Oxford Junction; her sister, Lora Driver of San Diego, Calif.; six aunts and uncles, Marie Jannette of Dubuque, John Driver of Westby, Wis., Joseph Driver of East Moline, Ill., Theresa Driver of Cedar Rapids, Mary (Marc) Keefer of Littleton, Colo., and Paul Driver of Cedar Rapids; her boyfriend, Alex Wood; and his mother, Lonni Wood, both of Oxford Junction; her dog, Homer; and her cat, Matrix.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lorrane (Henry) Driver, Edward, Lucille and Lorina Crofton; and her boyfriend's father, Harold Wood.
