Amanda Knight, loving wife and mother, passed away on May 15, 2021, at age 38, after suffering several medical complications the
last few years.
Amanda was born Nov. 13, 1982, at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She graduated from Marion Independent High School in 2001. She married Chuck Knight Jan. 4, 2014, and had a daughter, Savannah, who was born Nov. 13, 2013.
Amanda is survived by her husband, Chuck; daughter, Savannah; parents, Glenn and Denise Lehrman of Marion; brother, Aaron Lehrman, wife Christine, and kids Rebekah, Nathaniel, JoAnna, Alexander and Glenn, of Grand Rapids, Mich.; sister, Sheila Christofferson, husband Shaun, and son Jude Onken of Monona; grandparents, Arnold and Doris Lehrman of Stanwood; grandmother, Betty Hanna of Tipton; mother-in-law, Cathey Knight and sister-in-law, JoAnna Knight, both of Cedar Rapids.
Amanda was preceded in death by her grandfather, Duane Hanna.
Amanda loved to bowl, watch NASCAR racing, and working on her artwork. She also enjoyed spending quality time with friends and loved ones.
Visitation for Amanda will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, May 21, at King of Kings Lutheran Church in Cedar Rapids. An additional visitation will be held at King of Kings Lutheran Church from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Saturday, May 22, with a funeral service immediately following at 11 a.m.
