Amanda Catherine Downs, 35, of Walker, formerly of Manchester and Dundee, died at her residence on Saturday, April 25, 2015.
She was born Jan. 19, 1980, in Independence, Iowa, the daughter of Joseph M. and Teresa M. (Payne) Downs. Amanda was a 1998 graduate of West Delaware and received a dental assistant degree at Kirkwood Community College. She was employed by Gentle Dental in Cedar Rapids for ten-plus years.
Survivors include a daughter, Vada of Walker; her parents, Joe (Wendy) Downs of Dundee and Teresa Haas of Lamont; and four siblings, Heather (Matt) Delagaradelle and Jamie (Noah) Burrage, both of Jesup, Stephanie (Shawn) Holtz of Harrisburg, N.C., and Laura (Jerry) Weber of Manchester.
Amanda was preceded in death by a twin daughter, Emma; and her stepfather, Dean Haas.

Memorial services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 29, at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home in Manchester, with Pastor John Sebeda officiating. Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 28, at the funeral home. Inurn-ment: St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Masonville.
