ALTON "BUD" EMERSON

Alton "Bud" Emerson, 85,
of Manchester, passed away Thursday, Dec. 1, 2016, at ABCM West Campus in Independence.
He was born Oct. 5, 1931,
in Manchester, the son of Frank and Ruth (Mead) Emerson. Bud was raised and educated in the Manchester area.
Bud resided at Penn Center in rural Delaware County for many years. He lived at the ABCM Rehabilitation Center for the past year.
Bud loved music and never missed the Lawrence Welk program on Saturday nights. He also loved to tap dance and participated in many of the programs at the center.
He is survived by several cousins and friends.
Bud was preceded in death by his parents.
There will be a private funeral service held for Bud at a later date. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery, Manchester.
