Alphonse B. "Al" Pasker, 88, of Manchester, died Sunday, March 2, 2014, at St. Luke's Unity Point in Cedar Rapids. Mass of Christian Burial: 11 a.m. Thursday, March 6, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manchester. Visitation: 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 5, at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home in Manchester. There will be a 2 p.m. Scripture service. Friends may also call after 10 a.m. Thursday at the church. Military rites at the church following mass. Interment will be at a later date at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Manchester.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Mae Pasker of Manchester; three sons, Charlie and Don (Julie) of Manchester and Fred (Deb) of Palo; two daughters, Joyce (Gaylen) Brady of Edgewood and Jane (Dan) Wulfekuhle of Delhi; 17 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Ida Funke of Wisconsin and Irene (Don) Salow of Manchester; sisters-in-law, Irene, Rosie, and Janette Pasker, along with Jane, Virgie and Jerry (Helen) Singsank and Eileen Dingbaum; and many nieces and nephews.
