Aloise Bernice Holland, 91, of Norway, passed away Aug. 2, 2014, at Colonial Manor Care Center.
Services: 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 5, Norway United Methodist Church with the Rev. Rose Marie Calderon-Kahn officiating. Visitation: two hours prior to service at the church.
Aloise was born May 21, 1923, in Norway, Iowa, the daughter of Henry and Anna Markham Holland. She was a 1940 graduate of Norway High School. Aloise was a longtime correspondent for the local newspaper.
Survivors include nieces and their families, Katie (Jim) Endlinger and Cheryl Endlinger, both of Ionia, Mich., and Cora Camp of Rocklin, Calif.; and many cousins.
Aloise was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Marvin and Dale; and one sister, Dorothy Carlson.
Arrangements are with Brosh Funeral Service, Norway.
