Alicia A. Franks-Polum,
54, of Cedar Rapids, died Sunday, June 4, 2017, at Mercy Medical Center. There will be a visitation from
4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Cedar Memorial Park
Funeral Home.
Survivors include her husband, David; two sons, Nicholas and Christopher; her parents, Laverne and Donna Franks, all of Cedar Rapids; a sister, Christine Mrstik Campbell of North Liberty; and two nephews, Sam Mrstik and Ben Campbell.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Edward and Frances Benesh and Lester and Louise Franks.
Alicia was a born Dec. 9, 1962, in Cedar Rapids. She graduated from Prairie High School and was active on its 1980 class reunion committee. Alicia enjoyed cooking and watching home, garden and cooking shows. Her greatest joy however, was the time spent with her beloved family and many many friends. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
