Alice Marie (Whitcher) Powell, 93, of Strawberry Point, Iowa, passed away Thursday, Dec. 14, 2017, at Regional Medical Center in Manchester.
Survivors include her six children, Rodney Powell of Urbandale, Marcia (Marv) Evenson of Cedar Rapids, Charlene (Ken) Heiar of La Porte City, Becky (Mike) Courtney of Dubuque, and Larita (Jerry) Hamlett and Kevin (Marcia) Powell, both of Strawberry Point.
Alice was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Powell.

Memorial services: 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 18, at United Methodist Church in Strawberry Point, with the Rev. Mary Green officiating.
Visitation: 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 17, at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home in Strawberry Point. Friends may call one hour before the service at the church on Monday. Inurnment: Cass Township Cemetery, Strawberry Point.
