He was preceded in death by his father, Alfred Hall Sr.; and sister, Bonnie (Hall) Layton.
Alfy, aka Buddha, Foofy, and Alfmeister was born April 16, 1965, to Alfred and Betty (Coonfare) Hall in Cedar Rapids. Over the years, he worked on cars, radio towers and water towers with his dad. Alfy's true passion was music, often heard saying, "If the music is too loud, you're too old!" He played drums in his younger days and would cruise First Avenue in his brown and white Oldsmobile Cutlass playing loud thumping music. He also loved Chevy trucks and was a master at shining vehicles, boats, and jet skis with his own personal cocktail he called his "Ancient Chinese Secret."
Later in life he had a special bond with his nephew, Ethan. Alfy loved introducing him to video games, music, fine arts and watching lots of movies together. Family was so important to Alfy, especially when he worked alongside his dad.
Our lives were like the weather, constantly changing. We always came back together, in those moments, Alfy will live in our future days as we incorporate his gifts into future generations.
So with a heavy heart, we send him to gain his halo and wings in heaven. We love you Alfy!
