Aldridge, Linda Lee

Linda Lee Aldridge, 68, of Cedar Rapids, died Thursday, Jan. 27, 2011, at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids. Services: 3:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 31, at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories, with the Rev. William B. Harnish officiating. Inurnment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Cedar Rapids. Friends may call from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Monday at the chapel.

Survivors include her children, Randy Aldridge, Carolyn (Steve) Carnicle and Roger Aldridge, all of Cedar Rapids; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; half sister, Donna Doves of East Bethel, Minn.; and several brothers- and sisters-in-law.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents; husband; infant daughter, Kathy Aldridge; and son, Michael Aldridge.

Linda Lee Bosacker was born Sept. 2, 1942, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Clare and Edith (Purington) Bosacker. She married Basil Aldridge on Sept. 27, 1958, in Iowa City. Basil died in April 1983. Linda worked at Quaker Oats for 36 years, retiring in 2001.

She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.

A memorial fund has been established in her name.
