ALBERTA W. MARTENS
Lowden
Alberta W. Martens, 89, of Lowden, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 12, 2021, at the Clarence Nursing Home. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 17, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lowden, with the Rev. Daniel Redhage officiating. Burial will follow in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
Alberta was born May 8, 1932, in
Lowden, to Albert and Frieda Kroemer Martens.
There are no immediate survivors.
She was preceded in death by her parents
and her brother, Leroy.
Alberta was very active in Trinity Lutheran Church, holding many offices and being heavily involved in the Ladies Aid, Lutheran Women's Missionary League, and the Lutheran Laymen's League. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and enjoyed playing cards and gardening.
