Alberta Donaldson, 85 years young, went into the arms of her Lord on Sunday, April 9, 2017. She was a very devout Roman Catholic and Third Order Carmelite, who lived her earthly vocation in an exemplary way, and was an example and comfort to all who came into her life or briefly passed through.
Our family would like to extend our deepest heartfelt appreciation to Northbrook Manor Care Center, who lovingly took care of her, holding her in their hearts as she was their mother for the last six months of her life. Also to Hospice of Mercy, who joined in with such loving care during the last final weeks of her life with such loving assistance. Above all, to Valerie Bauer, a most special and loving lady, who befriended Mom, whom Mom loved as her own, for helping our family through every step of the way so as to make our journey easier and more peaceful.
Mom will be flown to Dallas, Texas, to be interred with her husband, Gene Donaldson, of whom she had been widowed from for 25 years.
Mom's last wish would be that you please keep her always in your prayers. God bless all of you.
