Albers, Lawrence 'Scotty'
Lawrence “Scotty” Albers, 80, of 115 South Garnavillo Pl., Anamosa, died at Manor Care in Cedar Rapids on Dec. 23, 2011, under the care of Hospice Compassus. Services will be at 11 a.m. Jan. 6, 2012, with visitation one hour before, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Anamosa.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Sylvia; his son, Michael (Kim); daughter, Kathy (JR) Blok; and grandchildren, Jodi (George) Pfeiffer, Amanda Blok, Kaitlyn and Daniel Albers.
He was preceded in death by sister, Liza; and brothers, William, John and Louis.
He enjoyed time fishing, hunting, watching his birds and other wildlife roaming his acreage by the Wapsipinicon.
